Solar water heater SWS (Non-pressure, 150 liters)
A pressureless solar collector (solar water heater) is a device for hot water preparation with a pressureless water tank. On sunny days, you can heat the water to boiling point.
Stainless steel product. The inner water tank is made of food-grade stainless steel SUS304-2B, the exterior and frame of the device are made of stainless steel SUS201.
Volume. 150 liters.
Type of water replenishment. Mechan
iska water refill tank (no need to connect to the mains).
Note. Depending on the selected modification, the size (number of flasks) and color of the device may differ from the device shown in the picture.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
Vacuum glass flasks are filled with water - the sun's rays heat the water directly. The inner absorbent layer of the glass flask can heat up to 380 °C in sunlight, and the heat is turned on by vacuum. As the water warms up, it rises and is stored in the water tank above. Under favorable conditions, the water is heated to boiling point.
The water tank has good thermal insulation, so the accumulated heat is preserved for up to 72 hours. If it is cloudy for a while, the sun is scarce, you can use the reserve of warm water for several days in a row.
Pressureless solar water heater (solar collector) water tank and water pipe pressure are different, so the filling of the tank with water must be controlled by a mechanical water replenishment tank, which works similarly to filling water in toilet bowl tanks - when the water level drops, the float opens the valve and the collector is filled with water.
The water tank of a non-pressurized solar collector is not permanently completely filled with water, and (unlike a pressurized system) this device can also be used as a water reservoir. This is especially convenient if the water supply is not constant.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE COLLECTOR SIZE?
We recommend choosing the size of the solar collector according to your individual hot water consumption. However, it is always advisable to choose larger device, so you have hot water reservations for cases when all the hot water is used up in the evening, or the sky is very cloudy for several days and the water does not have time to warm up. If you choose a larger device, you will be able to use the hot water reserve accumulated the previous day.
INSTALLATION
No additional pressure is created in the water tank of a non-pressurized solar collector, so water flows out of the tank only by gravity (the principle of connected vessels). To ensure sufficient pressure, we recommend placing it as high as possible (at least 3-5 meters high). Or, if it is not possible to place it high enough, an electric water pump can be connected to increase the pressure.
The construction of the frame included in the device is universal, so the pressure-free solar collector can be installed on both horizontal and inclined roofs. It can also be mounted on a vertical surface (wall) using an additional frame.
Possible installation options on a horizontal and sloping roof.
CONNECTION TO WATER SUPPLY
Connection through a mechanical water make-up tank
Cold water is added directly to the mechanical water refill tank. Water is replenished in a similar way to toilet tanks - when the water level drops, the float opens the valve and the heater tank is filled with water.

2. Hot water outlet.
3. Additional cold water inlet which MUST BE SEALED (used only with electronic controller).
4. Cold water inlet (connects to tank).
5. Air intake / ventilation tube.
USE IN WINTER
A non-pressurized solar collector also works in the cold season of the year, but the amount of solar energy absorbed is significantly less. If the collector does not have a built-in electric heater or it is not possible to ensure a continuous electricity supply, in winter, the system must be disconnected, the water must be drained.
